This year, due to the declining market, it has become increasingly difficult to make a living as a real estate agent Over 30 percent of the agents have left this field in search of better opportunities. Many veteran agents are facing a lot of pressure from the slowing market and most agents are experiencing a decrease in sales from between 30% to 50%. Given the current situation and the declining market, I have actually increased my sales by 30% compared to last year. I am extremely happy because it has only been 7 months into the current year and I have already made the same amount in transactions to account for all of last year. Aside from the ones still being listed, I have managed to sell all of my 20+ listings with none expiring. I am very proud of this achievement and it is evident that my ability and professionalism has gained the trust of the general public. Even in a difficult and slowing market, I continue to improve as an agent and push forward. I believe that an agent’s ability truly shows when they are working under the pressure of a declining market. In a seller’s market, any agent can sell a property but in a tough buyer’s market it takes a lot more expertise to make the sales. The sales rates of buyer’s markets are a lot lower yet I have managed to maintain a 100% sales rate. This show that my success as a realtor is not a fluke or just a stroke of luck. I have done well as a realtor because my quality of service is top notch in all areas, this includes organization, planning, and exposure and I am continuously working to improve all of those areas as each day goes by.

In the four years of being a real estate agent. I have gladly kept the energy of a rookie, and at the same time, accumulated many precious experiences

When the company announced that, I won the “Top Producer" award this year, I was overwhelmed by the emotions of gratitude and happiness. I was happy that my hard work had been recognized, and I was thankful to all my customers and the company. I appreciate every one of my customers and my co-workers who had given me so much confidence, support, and trust, which has provided me the opportunity to become a successful agent.Real estate is a very challenging profession. I remember when I first entered the field, the fast ups and downs within the business appalled me. I have heard many stories, some about agents acquiring success and wealth within a short time and others about agents failing because of dishonesty. What I have learned from others is the need to always treat every single customer with their best interest in heart. No matter how much more time it took me, or how much more work I had to do, I always tried to be patient, honest, and helpful. And I am glad that all my customers eventually responded to my values by providing me with more business in the long run.

In the past, I have never ran any misinformation or deceitful ads to attract buyers, and never tried to attract sellers with misleading, untruthful estimates on their houses, and I know that I never will. I understand that some people are not real customers--some got an estimate from me but gave their house to another agent, some asked me for advice but left me fake contact numbers. But you know what? I don’t care.

Real estate is service industry to begin with. With this fact in my mind, I think what’s really important here is that I can help. I would love to provide my professional real estate knowledge to anyone who needs it.
